I want to remember this moment because I see a beautiful girl doing something she truly loves in the relaxing, quiet hours of the afternoon. I want to remember that despite the chaos of having 4 kids, homeschooling, being pregnant, and living in a 900 some odd square foot apartment, every afternoon became a haven of rest, relaxation, and pursuit of lovely things. I want to recognize that homeschooling is more than the math facts, spelling words, and attempts at social studies, science, grammar, and geography. It is space to become the person you would like to be.
