Cooking Ratchets

We've gone from pancakes to ratchets...at least in Alyssa's kitchen. While Erik and I were project-ing on Saturday, Alyssa was using left over tools for some good ol' fashioned fun. Maybe its time for somebody to get some play food. When it was time to put the ratchets away, Erik noticed we were a few pieces short. I looked everywhere and finally found them in a tissue box with tissues in it. I thought the box was a little heavy when I put it away!

Alyssa is starting to develop her own sense of style. It really gets kicked up a notch when daddy helps her pick her clothes. On this particular day she was sporting her bright orange family reunion compression shirt, kitty cat pants, a sweater way too small, black shoes, and a hangin' curl in the front. I had to do some coercing to get her outfit a bit more appropriate for the library. We traded in the pants for jeans, her favorite.

Alyssa really likes to carry things around. We see her modeling in her car with as much stuff as she can possibly fit in it! Notice the purse around her neck!

And then she decided all these things need to go in Mommy's car! We were going to the Home Depot. When she sees me get my purse, she wants to grab a purse and then she grabbed a bag, a rabbit house, and castle. It was a little out of hand in that back seat!
