In October we began reading the Book of Mormon with Alyssa. Our goal was to finish it before her baptism on May 4, 2019. We did it! After reading (usually) twice a day for 6 months, we made it through. To celebrate we made homemade donuts, as pictured below! While reading the Book of Mormon, I feel we were blessed with more peace in our home, particularly in the mornings, which used to be quite frustrating and harried. I hope our children will always seek after spiritual knowledge and that this will be the first of many times finishing the Book of Mormon.
Alyssa turned 8 and was baptized. Kent was blessed. Lots of family came to visit. Here are just the pictures that were on my phone of the fun weekend. Hopefully more pictures to come!
